The place was clean and it looked nice and the people that worked there were great, but the strawberry shake I had had an extra piece of plastic on top that kind of resembles a lid without the entire center. Like the entire top of the lid was cut out but it still had the big thick plastic ring around the cup. And this un-lid made a rim over the top so you couldn't even sip from the cup you have to stick a little tiny straw into the big giant hole (the "lid"). It's a good Shake but some leaves blew into my Shake on the way back to the car, (I ordered it to go) so I didn't get to finish it anyway. Other than that it was great. I really like Del Taco because I'm a vegetarian and not everything on their menu is meat, plus it's tasty when you're on the go.
Always have to check our order before leaving the parking lot because it is so often wrong. Even when the items are correct, there is always an ingredient missing. And now they are charging for "extra" sauce?!? What? We love Del Taco, so we have been coming to this Del Taco for years because it is the only one near us. We may have to just forget it and drive to Lancaster/Palmdale where our orders are always correct & we can use as much sauce as we want.
If one values their time, this place isn't ideal. There is always a chance that one could go to Hungry Howie's, order a pizza and receive the pizza more quickly than one could get in and out of this drive through. Just to be clear, I'm counting time from the order menu to receiving one's food.Other Del Tacos are not like this. It isn't a Del Taco problem. The place was a little dirty; tables not cleaned up but the customer service was great. The cashier was so nice & she even gave us free drinks. Good was delicious 😋
Del-taco is still living pretty distant in the past with their out dated resturants. Day crew, is great; usually a older lady who is taking orders, she is sweet, and amazing at getting you what you want. Why 3 stars you may ask? The night crew... they are awkward, they asked me if I was sure about not wanting avocado on my order 4 times, and still put it when I specifically don't like avocado, and messed up every item we ordered... and forgot to give us our fries.
